Trends in Location Tracking

Traditionally the focus of location tracking in the service space has been directed primarily at service vehicles and, to a certain extent, to mobile field workers. Recent research of 200 service and manufacturing professionals conducted by the Aberdeen Group indicates that these polled organizations are also showing an active interest in actively ascertaining the location information of other resources, such as parts and serviceable assets.
